Foreign Direct Investment in Latin America and the Caribbean 2020

This ECLAC annual report sets out and analyses the main foreign direct investment (FDI) trends in the countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. Since 2019 foreign investment inflows have declined steadily, bringing into focus the relationship between FDI flows, the macroeconomic cycle and commodity price cycles in the region.
