Downing Service (Magnificat and Nunc Dimittis)

The Magnificat is a powerful setting of the Canticle of Mary, with homophonic textures and strong harmonies, while the Nunc Dimittis is expressive and poignant. A long-awaited addition to the Evensong repertory.
