Robert Louis Stevenson

Born in Edinburgh in 1850, and known as essayist, poet and author of fiction and travel books, Robert Louis Steven is especially known for his novels of adventure. Many of Stevenson's stories are set in colourful locations and also have horror and supernatural elements, his most famous being The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr Hyde.
