Art of the Picts

The Picts, who occupied north-eastern Scotland between the sixth and ninth centuries, are perhaps the least well-known of the Celtic people. The only real traces of their society are a large series of stone cross slabs, and some silverwork. This book presents a comprehensive survey of Pictish art.
