Animal Welfare in Islam

Examines animal sacrifice as practised by the adherents of several world religions. This book raises the issue of the mass production of meat and exhorts the Muslim community, particularly in the West, to tackle the issue of "Halal" meat in an appropriate manner. It attempts to show the compassionate Islamic teachings regarding animal welfare.
